thanksgiving meal 2014 deux: family

in order start introducing each fruit and vegetable to k, i looked for toys that would help k recognize them. there were plastic versions but i didn’t want k to put plastic in her mouth all of the time. then i found this stuffed toy set online. what made me decide was that they are machine washable so i can clean them often. introducing new foods: carrots

carrots are also a favorite for new eaters because of it’s sweetness and as expected k loved it. carrots do have to be cooked longer so that it is very soft – if you don’t make it soft enough and grind it, little pieces can get stuck in baby’s little throat and cause him/her to choke.carrots
