processed gluten free vegan snack: buckwheat crackers

at Le Pain Quotidien, m got prosciutto, fig and pear tartine with ricotta, honey and wild arugula. usually we have a choice of bread. since we wanted to keep our hands free of allergens when we’re with k, the waiter offered us the option of gluten free vegan crackers.

so we got them instead of bread. not only did k enjoy the crackers as a snack but we also gave them a piece of prosciutto, fig and pear tartine on the gluten free vegan crackers.

since there were several new ingredients in the dish, we wanted to get some more. luckily it is a product of Le Pain Quotidien so we were able to pick up a box at the restaurant. yay! so i made my version of LPQ dish for k: fig and prosciutto sandwich.
